At the end of the school year 2004-2005, the direction and the PAG-team of this school put thousand € at the disposition of the action “locust plague. At the moment that these funds reached us, Senegal was no longer tormented by this plague.

In association with FODDE en the school board, it was decided to spend the money to the project of Allatentou, Soudouwély.

As can be read in the project presentation by  FODDE:
 "To enlighten the farming labour of these women, FODDE has provided the 4 wells with een motorised irrigation system. Thanks to this, the possibilities to grow fruit and vegetables have been improved. This production will also improve the family revenues and the quality of the nutrition.

With the help of this school, we will have a first fund to buy quality seeds and  fuel for the pump motor.Later, this women will have the necessary resources to pay their expenses by their own, hanks to the profits of the  grown vegetables.

The impact on this community, of the improvement of the income of these women, is important in the whole social area. They will be able to afford to pay for the care of their children, to let them go to school and to omprive their living circumstances.
